35 isn't too old to have a baby. my mom had my youngest sister when she was 36--no complications and not unusual at all. in fact, 11% of pregancies are in women over 35. women 35+ usually get special attention from doctors just in case but it doesn't become a huge concern until 40.
I think it's way old. Women still have babies that age... sheesh! Even that crazy 57 year old had twins! I wouldn't want to have a baby at 35. If I got pregnant, I'd keep him, of course. But at 31 or 32, I'd stop aiming to bear children. My mom's sister had a baby at 45. She didn't even see a doc because she didn't believe that she was preggo... she had gotten her tubes tied 15 years before that! O_o
